I wanted to thank you for a lovely experience on the Thai Cookery Course, not only did I learn new skills and meet new friends but my breathe was taken away with the scenery of Perthshire from your venue. It was very easy to book and pay online with a variety of courses as a beginner I felt very comfortable on the day L.Mitchell, Thai Course, August 2010 The week long University Survival Cookery Course was amazing - we covered cooking on a budget, cooking simple cheap meals and also baking and puddings. E.Winton, 1 Week Survival Course, Aug 2010 I had a great time you made me feel very welcome. I got a lot out of the course and it has inspired me to try different things including a cake for my dads special birthday (eek). I love the photos, thank you and I am very proud of my achievement. S Thomson, Cake Decorating Course June 2010 Thank you so much for such an interesting, varied and educational Thai cookery course last Saturday week. It was great fun and action-packed, such that the day seemed to pass in a flash. The experience makes me far more confident and adventurous in my approach to cooking, and I shall be using the skills we learned in all my cooking in future. D. Baudains, Thai Course, August, 2010. What a wonderful day I had at Let's Cook! With summer approaching and the prospect of outdoor cooking, I booked on to the one day BBQ course to prevent my sausages being encased in charcoal, to try and learn new recipes and cook something else apart from boring chicken and steaks! From the moment I logged on to the easy to navigate website, I was quickly able to book my course on line using PayPal, and received almost instant acknowledgement from Sarah as well as directions to her beautifully situated converted barn on the outskirts of Abernethy with views to die for! The day itself was great fun: a lovely cup of coffee to welcome us and then it was down to work. There were four of us and we all received individual instruction from Sarah and help preparing the wonderful dishes - gorgeous marinated pork fillets, tasty salmon as well as plenty of good tips as to how to avoid that burnt sausage! Of course, having cooked the food on the BBQ, the best part was eating it and sitting outside in the sunshine with a glass of chilled wine made the day a really memorable one and I shall certainly be keeping an eye out for future courses. I heartily recommend Let's Cook! James, from Perth. Sarah was great, gave lots of advice and tips on how to use our fantastic local produce and it was an excellent way of networking with other B&B owners. I now have some interesting additions to my breakfast menu. Jenny Langrish, Rose Cottage B&B, Aberfeldy www.luxurybedandbreakfastscotland.co.uk The Perthshire Breakfast cookery course surpassed our expectations. Sarah’s welcoming manner and encouraging style of instruction make her an excellent teacher. Also her preparation was exemplary. Cairine and Tom Caskie, Greystanes B&B, Auchterarder. This was definitely a good "hands on" experience. We are all obviously able to produce a good breakfast, but this was a fun and interesting way to introduce us more to local produce and to give us all confidence to try one or two little things that can make a good breakfast "excellent". Sarah was a lovely hostess, teacher and future “Delia”. Mary Duncan, Miramichi Holidays, Blairgowrie. We thoroughly enjoyed the course and wish Sarah every success on her new venture. Everyone considering opening a B&B should attend a course. It is good for confidence building. Ann Berry and Barbara Braine, Beinn Bhracaigh, Pitlochry |
