Course description

One Day Cookery Classes

Our one day classes are a great way to learn new skills or new flavours and tastes in a fun and informal atmosphere at our Perthshire base. 

They are suitable for all levels, from the complete beginner to someone who is looking to broaden their culinary repertoire.

All the menus have been put together to make sure your entertaining at home is as stress free as possible! We will not only show you how to cook a four course meal, but we will give you all the tips and hints so you can produce the meal in your own home with ease. At the same time as learning new dishes we will work through with you any of the essential skills needed from making your own melt in the mouth pastry, filleting fish, making fresh pasta, dressing crab and even making your own bread, you will come away with another skill under your belt.

The day is a mixture of demonstrations and practical sessions; we believe that you can’t really get to grips with something unless you get your hands dirty!

The session starts at 10am and ends at 4pm.  Depending on the class you will have the chance to eat your creations with a well deserved glass of wine or you will be able to take away what you have made, but whatever cookery class you take, we promise you won’t go hungry on the day! 

You will also get to take away a folder containing the recipes and any other hints and tips from the day.
